Purpose

To carry out specific secondary and primary research on different aspects of business innovation and the dissemination of CER activities especially work on the International Entrepreneurship Forum (IEF) Conference and related administration. 

 

Tasks

  1. To carry out detailed literature review of different aspects of innovation as outlined above and as directed by the Director of CER;
  2. To collect, collate and analyse data from other specific industry sources and data bases identified by the main investigators;
  3. To carry out initial interpretation of data identifying key patterns, fit with hypotheses, variances;
  4. To draw to the attention of the main investigator key findings from secondary data search;
  5. To draw down specific data on linked research projects on business innovation, collate and analyse them as advised;
  6. To work on the development of the forthcoming IEF conference, organise seminars, focus group meetings and workshops connected to the subject and as directed by the Director of CER
  7. To carry out related research administration tasks, including the maintenance of research logs, research appointments and diaries

Brief Statement of Research Interest

My main area of research area is Entrepreneurship, particularity entrepreneurial learning and the development of capabilities in relation to gender and creative industries. My doctoral research explored the role of learning in growth aspirations and emergence of dynamic capabilities of the female entrepreneurs in creative industries in the UK.
