ABOUT US

The University Advancement Office (UAO) plays a vital role in fostering the professional readiness of students, providing placement services and maintaining strong connections with the alumni. This office supports career readiness through career development programs, placement facilitation, and employability initiatives. It also manages alumni engagement activities and maintains comprehensive data for institutional reporting and future planning.

Our Structure

Under the umbrella of the University Advancement Office there are three key operations:

  1. Career Development Center (CDC)
  2. Placement Services
  3. Alumni Affairs

Each operation has defined objectives to promote student success, alumni involvement, and institutional excellence.

  1. Career Development Center (CDC)

Overview


The Career Development Center is dedicated to equipping students with the knowledge, skills, and confidence needed for successful entry into the professional world. The center organizes training programs and workshops aimed at enhancing employability.

Key Functions

  • Conduct career development and soft skills workshops.
  • Offer digital skills and professional readiness training sessions
  • Regularly track and maintains graduate Employability Data and support institutional reporting related to employability and career readiness
  1. Placement Service

Overview

It provides guidance on internships, employment opportunities, and career readiness while maintaining comprehensive records of student placements and employment outcomes. Through its services, the Placement Office supports students in making a successful transition from academic life to the professional workforce.


Key Functions

  • Manage and coordinate internship  activities
  • Issue official internship letters.
  • Maintain and update complete internship and employment records.
  1. Alumni Affairs

Overview

In Alumni Affairs we ensure that the university maintains lasting and productive relationships with its graduates. It focuses on building a structured and data-driven alumni management system that contributes to the university’s continuous improvement and growth.

Key Functions

  • Maintain and regularly update the university’s Alumni Database.
  • Organize alumni reunions and other related activities.
  • Conduct alumni surveys across all departments in accordance with HEC requirements.
