MEETING SECTION
Meeting Section a sub-section of the Registrar Office, that performs recruitments tasks along with working of Statutory forms of Syndicate, Selection Board & Selection Committee with legal matters related to recruitment. Any other assigned under Act, Statutes, Regulation & Rules.
WORKING AREAS
- The Meetings Section is involved in the recruitment and selection process of various teaching / administrative positions i.e. BPS-16 & below & BPS-17 and above. (Both contract/permanent) all the details, criteria’s and proformas are available in the Statutes of Shaheed Benazir Bhutto Women, Peshawar.
- It scrutinizes application forms, documents and credentials of the candidates for the advertised posts, through Scrutiny Committees.
- It arranges meeting(s) of the Scrutiny, Appellate Committee(s). Selection Committees demonstrations, Selection Boards and Syndicate.
- The Section also conducts screening tests for BPS-07 to BPS-14 (Regular Posts) and BPS-07 and above (Contract posts).
- The Meetings Section does correspondence with the Referees regarding evaluation of research articles for the post of Professor and Associate Professor.
- It prepare / circulates agenda for meeting of the Selection Board and the Syndicate.
- Its record / circulates minutes of the meetings of the Selection Board and the Syndicate.
- The Meetings Section is involved in the official correspondence with various Government functionaries across Pakistan, including the Higher Education Commission, Governor’s Secretariat as well as correspondence with foreign Universities regarding various academic issues / verification (s). Complaints and appeals.
- The Meetings Section also conducts various miscellaneous meeting(s) when and as directed by the executive bodies and competent authority respectively.
- The legal matters by courts and grievances of applicants who applied for different posts through Right to Information Commission, Provincial Ombudsmen’s and Prime Minister Portal as well as provision of data for the same is handled by section.
