One day workshop on Initiation of HEC ranking for year 2023 commenced on 5^th September, 2023 for the Admin officers and faculty members of the Shaheed Benazir Bhutto Women University, Peshawar in Smart Classroom. It was the inaugural session of Smart classroom.

Prof. Dr. Safia Ahmed (T.I), Vice Chancellor, Shaheed Benazir Bhutto Women University Peshawar graced the occasion and inaugurated the operational session of smart classroom, she expressed delight towards inauguration of the university’s state-of-art smart classroom. She added that the initiation of classroom is a significant milestone towards providing students with quality of education and trainings to its staff/faculty of students. She also emphasized the importance of university ranking in the higher education sector. She further advised to use of smart classroom for the benefits and assistance of students.

Dr. Shafiullah, Director HEDR also graced the inaugural session remotely, he appreciated the smart classroom initiative and congratulated the University.

Dr. Bashir Khan, Deputy Director, HEDR, HEC remotely facilitated the workshop on university ranking 2023 wherein he  provided valuable insights on ranking. He equipped the staff and faculty with appropriate data compilation procedures in a user friendly environment.

The key objectives of the workshop were:

1. Understanding the HEC ranking parameters and requirements.
2. Guidelines for data compilation and submission.

The workshop concluded with vote of thanks to and from the participants, resource person and the organizers.
