Mission
Our Mission is to provide stimulating and practical programs of education and training in the field of Statistics relevant to the need of society in today’s rapidly changing world. The Department Contribute to the Advancement of Female education by promoting research culture. The Department has the determination to motivate graduate students to develop their interests in the subject of statistics and to enhance the standard of teaching in Statistics, the quantity and quality of research to meet with the needs and demands of the country.
Vision
The vision of the department of statistics is to provide education and research facilities in the field of statistics. The Department provides a platform for statistical collaboration with researchers from other fields of knowledge and encourages participation of female in the development of the society.
Objectives
- To provide scholars for high profile careers in teaching and research who will be able to contribute their expertise in different fields.
- To focus on theoretical and applied statistics.
- To promote collaboration and inter disciplinary relationship with the teaching and research organizations.
- To provide help and consultation in data analysis to researchers working in various fields and industrial organizations.
Duration : Three Years
Eligibility :
- Minimum CGPA should be 3.0 (Semester System) or First Division (Annual System) from a recognized University.
- Relevant Masters’ degree or 4-year education after intermediate (Min 130 Credit Hours).
