Nutrigenomics of cancer, Food Sciences and Nutritional Biochemistry

  • Dietary Modifications for the chemoprevention of cancer by targeting molecular pathways
  • Assessment of Nutritional status and its correlation with different human disorders
  • Epigenetic modifications of human embryonic stem cells genes in cancer patients and dietary modifications for the reversibility of these modifications in cancer cell lines.
  • Improvement of the seed quality of different foods through prevention of specific pathogenic strains
  • Synthesis of different commercial foods products from functional foods.
  • Extraction and analysis of essential oils from ornamental, medicinal and dietary plants and their use for the prevention of different human disorders.
  • Isolation of seed born fungi, their identification and molecular characterization.
  • Isolation of mycoviruses from cladosporium (Seed born Fungus).
  • Extraction and analysis of essential oils from rose Jasmine and aromatic herbs.
  • Molecular diagnostic Assay for Rice blight disease.
  • Evaluation of phytochemicals of medicinal plants for various bioactivities and pharmaceutical purposes.
