HEC All Pakistan Intervarsity (Women) Squash Championship 2016-2017
The HEC All Pakistan Intervarsity Women Squash Championship (2016-2017) was organized at Shaheed Benazir Bhutto Women University from November 27thto November 30th 2016.
The manager meeting was held on 27th November, 2016 at Qayyum Stadium Peshawar, the following attended.

Opening Ceremony
The colorful opening ceremony of HEC All Pakistan Intervarsity Women Squash Championship (2016-2017) was held at PSB Mohibulah Khan Squash Complex, PSB Coaching Center, Peshawar, at 11:00 am. Vice Chancellor Shaheed Benazir Bhutto Women University Madam Professor Dr. Razia Sultana graced the occasion as chief guest.
Before the start of the matches the colour ceremony was started from the recitation of Holy Quran Hamda Khan of Lahore College for Women University followed by National Anthem.
Speaking on this occasion, Vice Chancellor Shaheed Benazir Bhutto Women University Madam Professor Dr. Razia Sultana lauded the efforts of the Directorate of Sports SBBWU for holding the event in which 08 top teams take part. She said Shaheed Benazir Bhutto Women University is very keen to involve the students in healthy sort of activities and thanked HEC for honoring the University to organize the prestigious event.
She assured the players that the Directorate of Sports SBBWU would take and utilize all resources to facilitate them. She said that the KP Govt is very keen in supporting the students of various universities to come up and take active part in the sports activities specially the female for this purpose, she said, the management of the University have taken many steps in developing infrastructure inside the University premises so that a conducive environment be provided to the female even of the other colleges and Universities.
She hoped that things regarding infrastructure development would soon be completed and the University would be equipped with modern day facilities for the students and rest of the country. She also appreciated HEC support extended to the University by announcing a grant of Rs. 10millon for the development of grounds, and holding of various sports activities by involving the female students in healthy activities.
She also invited the officials and teams for a visit to see the land situated inside University premises but have no infrastructure for the university students. She said efforts would be taken to develop facilities for women students in due course of time.
